For the Korean diaspora, as well as locals who love Korean culture, the longing for a proper home-cooked meal is a weekly reality. If you are craving the wholesome, neat, and authentic taste of mom's cooking, I highly recommend Dasoni Banchan. Their carefully prepared, healthy side dishes taste exactly like what my own mother used to make. Sodam Toronto

For those living across the GTA, you cannot leave out Sodam Toronto, which has firmly held its ground since 2016. Their systematic delivery schedule is incredibly convenient: Tuesdays cover North York, Etobicoke, and Mississauga, while Wednesdays cover Aurora, Newmarket, Markham, and Scarborough. The simple joy of opening a neatly packaged container of braised lotus roots (yeongeun-jorim) or spicy stir-fried squid (ojingeo-bokkeum) is beyond words.
