The ongoing conflict between the United States and Iran has now lasted for six months, a grim anniversary met with calls from U.S. lawmakers for President Donald Trump to seek an end to hostilities. Despite the war's progression, President Trump has conveyed mixed signals regarding its status. He has asserted that military actions and the blockade of the Strait of Hormuz have achieved U.S. objectives, even posting "MISSION ACCOMPLISHED 2026" on social media.

However, the war has resulted in substantial costs.
