York Police Establish Command Post for Missing Vulnerable Person in Markham

York Regional Police have established a command post in Markham, Ontario, as they search for a missing 28-year-old vulnerable person named Andrella. She was last seen between 2 and 4 a.m. on Friday in the vicinity of Highway 7 East and Birchmount Avenue. Andrella is described as five-foot-eight with shoulder-length black hair, and may be wearing a hijab, black glasses, and carrying a black bag. She might also be wearing white running shoes. Her family has stated that this disappearance is highly out of character, and authorities have no indication of her whereabouts. The search area is extensive, encompassing numerous multi-story buildings, shopping centres, and green spaces, which presents a challenge for officers. To assist in the search of this large area, drone operators have been deployed, and a significant number of police resources are currently dedicated to locating Andrella.
