Hamilton Man Dies Following May Assault

Hamilton police reported that a man has died following an assault that occurred in May. Officers were dispatched to the intersection of Wentworth Street North and Bristol Street on the morning of May 31 in response to an assault report. Upon arrival, they discovered a man with a severe head injury. He was taken to a local hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries on Thursday. The victim's family has chosen to keep his identity private. Investigators are actively searching for a suspect described as having a medium build, who was last seen wearing a white t-shirt, white shorts, and a white bucket hat. The Hamilton Police Service is appealing to the public for any information that could aid in their investigation.
